good morning ladies! SEVEN years ago today i got married in the logan temple:) what a great day! i just wanted to post a little note and some pictures as a celebration. wow, what a road it has been!! so this year i have planned what we're doing, and as a surprise i have booked a room for us at a bed and breakfast with a jacuzzi tub;) it's so fun being the planner for a change. he's away at school during the week so he has no idea about any of it! i'm going to get my hair, makeup, and nails done before he gets home tomorrow and then we're OFF! minus the kidlet, of course! family is great when you need an overnight sitter. so, i hope everyone has a great day today!!!

Congratulations Jen! Sounds like a sneaky fun plan. Those are the best.
Happy Anniversary! That sounds like so much fun!! I love so much when I get to go out for a special night with my hubby! Have a blast! :)
How sweet for you! Congrats on seven years!! My hubby wants to go on a cruise for our ten year. However, I am apprehensive because Karina will only be 2 1/2. I just think that we would be away from her too long, and the other girls too and they are not used to that. So that is our dilema.
Yeah Ang, and what about the titanic, and poseidon, and sharks? That's my cruise dilema!
i say don't let having kids hold you back from getting away and having fun! i look to my sister for future inspiration, they go on cruises and vacations all the time and leave kids with trusted friends or family. ya gotta do it! i'm a big vacation person though. and lu we lived in huntington beach for over a year and i went in the ocean all of 0 times cause i'm terribly afraid of sharks, feel ya on that one.
oh, cruises are soooo fun! i went on one when i was 15 and it was a blast...all the food (yum), midnight buffets (oh yeah), beautiful views, music...i say buckle down and just go on one once in your life, it's worth it! and when you're out there, you don't even think about sharks, honestly! i didn't anyway. but i won't swim in the ocean, and nothing will change my mind on that one. too many movies.
Congratulations! Beautiful pics! I can tell you have a wonderful life together.
good, cheap ideas...hmmm....start with a sitter (to get the kiddos out of the house overnight unless you know someone with a cabin) then do a fondue picnic on the floor...you can do cheese, caramel, chocolate (of course chocolate!), then make a little homemade movie before hand of pictures and stuff from your 10 years together, with music too, that you can watch together and dance to (slow dance!)...then improvise on the rest (heeheehee)....then in the morning go to the temple together and do sealings. sounds like fun to me, i'll have to remember i said it!
that temple has so much history to it! i love that you were married there. i have a lot of ancestors who were married there too. did you know part of it burnt down back in the day? love that temple. you guys look great, happy anniversary.
sherrie - yeah i agree. quin grew up in logan so he knew all kinds of stuff about the temple, it has an AMAZING history! we had plans of going to all the utah temples before we moved but it didn't happen. there are some really beautiful ones out there...but logan will be my favorite always. if anyone has the chance, check out the san antonio temple, pres. hinckley said the interior was the most beautiful he had ever seen (pretty high praise!).
Congrats Jen!! Awesome!!
